What is Tubular Heaters ?

Tubular heating elements perform exceptional heat transfer by conduction, convection or radiation to heat liquids, air, gases and surfaces. In most heater assemblies, tubular element design configurations vary — round, triangular, flat press and formed.

Features

  • Selected high-quality sheath materials (see table below for selection).

  • Precision helical wound nickel-chrome resistance wire.

  • High purity magnesium oxide powder compacted to provide maximum heat conductivity and optimum dielectric strength.

  • Integral cold pin fusion welded to helical resistance wire provides optimum current carrying capacity.

  • Threaded screw terminal with ceramic or mica insulator provides a positive connection from lead wire to terminals.
